PUBLICATION OF CANDIDATES LIST FOR OCTOBER 9, 2024 LOCAL GOVERNMENT ELECTIONS.

With compliance to due process, the Plateau State Independent Electoral Commission PLASIEC has published the complete list of candidates for the October 9 upcoming Local Government Elections.

This follows the substitution of withdrawn or uncleared candidates by political parties in line with provisions of the electoral law.

The final list of candidates has been uploaded on our website, https://plasiec.ng/candidates and also available for public viewing at PLASIEC headquarters, No 7 ,Mark Samci Road Jos, as well as our offices in the Seventeen Local Government Areas.

We urge the public to familiarize themselves with candidates running for various positions and make informed choices on Election Day.

With the final list now published, the Commission encourages all stakeholders, candidates, political parties, and the electorate to respect the electoral process and abide by all regulations guiding the forthcoming elections.
