PUBLIC ANNOUNCEMENT!!

The Plateau State Independent Electoral Commission, PLASIEC wishes to inform the public that a re-run of the local government elections for Councillorship positions will be conducted in six wards across four Local Government Areas (LGAs) in the state.

The re - run elections will be conducted in Kishika ward of Bassa Local Government Area as well as Jemkur and Turaki wards of Langtang South.

Re-run elections will also be conducted in Gindiri 2 and Kasuwan Ali wards of Mangu Local Government Area.

Qua'an Pan local government on the other hand will conduct re -run elections in Luukwo ward.

The specific date for the re-run will be announced in due course.

We encourage all eligible voters in the affected wards to stay informed and participate in this important democratic process.
